1. Namma Metro Accessibility, Safety, and Inclusion

The Metro accessibility, safety, and inclusion study is carried out in two stages. The first stage will set a platform to understand the key issues of accessing public transport stations in Bengaluru. The first phase study was conducted over three months. It involved the physical audit of 27 stations in the Green Line metro, developing rendered 3D views of five metro stations, Jaya Prakash Nagar, South-end Circle, Konanakunte Cross, Yelachenahalli, and Goraguntepalya.

The study provides a key framework to be followed by the planning and implementing agencies of public transportation. The evaluation of these frameworks from time to time will help meet the standards and attract more people to use public transportation.

We believe that the future is in the hands of the younger generation. Education and awareness, skill development, and training programs on public health, environmental protection and climate change definitely have an impact on our future. We aim to achieve these objectives through workshops and training to children and building a community of Road Safety Ambassadors for the future of our cities.

The program is tailored to cover the auditing of road safety around schools, proposing the required changes in road geometry, signs and markings, training and workshops to students.

Enough talk, let's make our roads safe and accessible
